Room Availability Management Setup

Before we go to the plugin settings, let’s first go to this WooCommerce setting to set up room availability management.

To enable automatic room locking and automatic release of held availability when payment is not completed, you need to configure the inventory settings in WooCommerce. Navigate to “WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory” and enable the “Enable stock management” option. Once enabled, set the “Hold stock (minutes)” value to specify how long room availability should be held before being automatically released back to available inventory. This ensures that rooms are locked when guests begin checkout and automatically become available again if the booking is not completed within the specified timeframe.

Plugin Settings Screen

Go to the admin dashboard, then head to “WooCommerce > Settings” and choose the “Hotel Booking” tab, or you can directly click the “Settings” link found in the installed plugin list under “Plugins > Installed Plugins.”

We have include some of settings to manage the plugin and a license field for the Pro add-on.

Exclude from shop.

It is recommended to exclude the accommodation products from your regular products. With this way, you can still sell other stuff on your website. You can create another page exclusively for listing your room/accommodation products with the shortcode.

Output date format.

Select a suitable date format. This will be used for the check-in and check-out dates in the cart and order.

Maximum age of children.

Specify the maximum age to which children are allowed. This option usually varies for each hotel. In some hotels, any guest above the age of 15 will be considered an adult.

Add to cart button label.

Configure the button label for the individual accommodation product page. Our plugin primarily targets the availability check page, but if a customer arrives at the individual product page (such as from a search engine), they still have the option to make a booking from that page.
